Adani-JKH terminal gets 25-year tax holiday from Sri Lanka government

The Sri Lankan government has announced a 25-year tax holiday for its upcoming west container terminal at Colombo port. The terminal will be built by the Adani Group and John Keells Holdings. According to tax breaks outlined under Sri Lanka’s Strategic Development Projects Act, the terminal company will get the tax holiday from the first year of profits, or two years after starting commercial operations.
