Railways to launch Tejas Express between Delhi and Dehradun soon

The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has agreed to launch a Tejas Express between Delhi and Dehradun via Haridwar. Work on the project is expected to begin soon. The Tejas Express trains are a premium version of the Shatabdi trains and are equipped with modern passenger facilities including comfortable seats, on-board infotainment for passengers, modular bio-toilets, attendant calling buttons, aircraft-style personalised reading lights, automatic interconnecting doors, extensive fire suppressant and retardant systems, etc.
