The new terminal building at the Jodhpur Airport in Rajasthan was inaugurated on July 4, 2026. The terminal, developed at a cost of Rs 4.8 billion, is spread across 23,342 square metres and is designed to handle 1,500 passengers during peak hours and 2 million passengers per annum (mppa). The terminal also incorporates a range of features designed to facilitate a seamless passenger experience including 20 check-in counters, advanced security screening systems, modern baggage handling facilities and six aerobridges.
The airport also features a newly developed apron with a capacity for 11 A321 aircraft and one ATR72 aircraft. It also features parking space for 320 cars on the city-side. The terminal also integrates sustainable features such as water conservation and energy efficiency systems and blends traditional elements showcasing the cultural heritage of the region.
