The Banas Suzuki biogas plant at Vinchhivadi in Banaskantha district of Gujarat was recently inaugurated. The plant has a capacity to process up to 100 tonnes of cow dung a day and produce around 1.5 tonnes of biogas a day. The plant is expected to carry out the production and sale of biogas for compressed natural gas vehicles and for organic fertilisers. The inauguration marks the third biogas plant of Suzuki, along with those at Agthala and Bhukhala.
