SpiceJet has finalised lease agreements to induct 20 aircraft into its fleet between October 2026 and November 2026. The induction will comprise 15 Boeing aircraft and five Airbus aircraft, including Airbus A321s. The aircraft will be brought into the fleet under damp-lease and wet-lease arrangements. In parallel, SpiceJet has been working to overhaul engines from its grounded aircraft. It is undertaking work on CFM International LEAP-1B engines powering its Boeing 737 MAX fleet, as well as turboprop engines used on its Q400 aircraft. SpiceJet has so far despatched nearly 19 engines to maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities worldwide.
