The Pune railway division under the Central Railway (CR) zone has commissioned the Ghorpuri-Hadapsar Third Rail Line Project. This will enhance the overall capacity of Pune-Daund section.
The project will also provide a dedicated transfer line between the rake maintenance depot and the proposed Hadapsar Satellite Terminal, also decongesting the Pune railway yard.
The project involves construction of a third rail line between Ghorpuri and Hadapsar in Maharashtra.
