The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has sanctioned funds worth Rs 1.6 billion for implementation of the Kochi-Munnar Two Laning Road Project (NH-85) in Kerala. The project involves widening of the 124.63 km road stretch to two lanes with paved shoulders connecting Kochi to Munnar from km 0 to km 124.36 on NH-85 in Kerala.
