As per the data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) gained 3.13 million, 2.94 million, 0.05 million and 0.07 million in wireless subscribers respectively, month on month, during April 2026. Meanwhile, the wireless subscriber base of Airtel, Jio and Vi increased to 480.88 million, 499.28 million and 198.53 million respectively. In addition, BSNL’s user base increased to 93.01 million.
