Lucknow Airport in Uttar Pradesh completes pre-monsoon runway maintenance and repair work

The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, successfully completed its extensive pre-monsoon runway maintenance and repair work on Runway 09/27 during a six-hour operational window. The preventive maintenance programme included runway and taxiway repairs, rubber removal, drain cleaning, airfield lighting and electrical system maintenance, baggage handling system inspections, wildlife hazard management, aircraft rescue and firefighting drills, information technology infrastructure upgrades and detailed operational safety checks. These measures were undertaken to ensure the highest levels of safety, efficiency and operational preparedness throughout the monsoon season.
