The central government has approved a Rs 13.59 billion project to upgrade the Nagaur-Bikaner highway in Rajasthan into a four-lane corridor. The initiative aims to enhance regional connectivity, reduce travel time, and improve freight movement along this key route.

The project involves widening and strengthening the existing road, along with associated civil works, drainage, and safety features. Construction is expected to begin after final detailed approvals and land acquisition alignments are completed, with the goal of delivering a more efficient and safer passage for vehicles traveling between Nagaur and Bikaner.
