East Central Railway (ECR) has commenced land acquisition of the Ara-Sasaram Rail Line Doubling Project. Besides, the entire project is expected to be completed by 2028.
The project involves doubling the 110 km long existing rail line from Ara to Sasaram at an estimated cost of Rs 7 billion in Bihar.
