Ericsson establishes a new RAN software R&D unit in Bengaluru

Ericsson has established a new radio access network (RAN) software research and development (R&D) unit in Bengaluru. The new R&D unit will initially focus on developing 5G and 5G-Advanced features for the Ericsson 5G baseband.

Visakhapatnam has secured its second major digital infrastructure investment. To this end, the Andhra Pradesh government has signed an agreement with Tillman Global Holdings for a Rs 150 billion, 300 MW hyperscale data centre campus.

CtrlS Datacenters has entered into a two-year MoU with NTPC Green Energy Limited to jointly develop grid-connected renewable energy projects with a total capacity of up to 2 GW. Under the partnership, the two companies will collaborate on greenfield projects and potential acquisitions aimed at supplying renewable power for CtrlS’s captive energy requirements.
