Delhi Airport to increase international capacity at T3

The Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has commenced works for the conversion of a domestic pier in Terminal 3 (T3) into an international facility after receiving clearances. The work is targeted for completion by December 2025. With this, T3 will feature three international piers and one domestic pier, taking the international passenger handling capacity from around 20 mppa to over 30 mppa, a 50 per cent increase. Domestic capacity at T3 will stand at 18 mppa. Pier C will continue to serve domestic operations until Terminal 2 reopens in mid-October 2025. Moreover, T3 is likely to witness the construction of an additional pier with a capacity of 10 mppa expected for completion by 2028.
