An Indian inland waterways vessel carrying cargo from Bhutan arrived at Bangladesh through India via the Brahmaputra river. The IWAI’s vessel, MV AAI, made the maiden voyage from Dhubri in Assam to Narayanganj in Bangladesh, across the Brahmaputra river (NW-2) and the Indo-Bangladesh protocol route. The vessel carried 1,000 tonnes of stone aggregates.
