HCLTech and Japanese advanced semiconductor company Rapidus Corporation have officially inaugurated two dedicated semiconductor development centres in Bengaluru and Hubli, marking a new chapter in India-Japan technology collaboration.
The centres will leverage HCLTech’s engineering capabilities to support Rapidus’ semiconductor engineering requirements across mask design, design infrastructure, process design kit development, design technology co-optimisation and layout design.
Further, HCLTech will also collaborate with Rapidus to build a pipeline of Indian engineering talent to meet the Japanese company’s evolving requirements in Japan.
