Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has announced the results of its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) auction for 250 MW of solar power capacity in Karbi Anglong, Assam.
Rays Power Infra and Hetvi Construction have emerged as successful bidders, securing 125 MW each.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plants on a turnkey basis, along with operation and maintenance for three years. Each lot must deliver 181.25 MW in direct current and 125 MW in alternating current, ensuring a minimum energy output of 267.05 million units with a performance ratio of at least 81 per cent. The project must also maintain at least 98 per cent of its capacity throughout its operational life. Further, bidders are mandated to source modules from manufacturers with over five years of experience and a track record of selling or installing at least 1,000 MW of modules. Inverters must similarly be sourced from firms with at least 1,000 MVA sales or installations over the past five years.
