The sewage treatment plant (STP) at Okhla in Delhi having a capacity of 564 million litres per day (mld) has been made fully operational by the Delhi Jal Board. The STP will benefit around 4 million people residing in Old Delhi, Central Delhi,New Delhi Municipal Council and South Delhi.
The Okhla STP project began in 2017 as a joint venture between the National Mission for Clean Ganga and the Delhi Jal Board.
