Anant Raj has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Haryana to invest approximately Rs 250 billion in developing large-scale data centre infrastructure across the state.
The investment is expected to generate nearly 6,000 direct jobs and several indirect employment opportunities, the company said in a statement. The MoU was signed at the launch of the Make in Haryana Policy and other sectoral policies organised by the state’s department of industries and commerce.
Anant Raj noted that the planned investment is over and above its existing and ongoing data centre expansion plans and is expected to further strengthen its digital infrastructure footprint.
