The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority has commenced the trial run of the 18 km long pipeline from Chandu Budhera Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to the Sector 72 Boosting Station. Around 10 km stretch of the pipeline has been tested while the remaining stretch is expected to be tested in phases.
Once operational, the project will ensure water supply to sectors 58 to 80 in Gurugram. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 630 million and the trial run is expected to be completed by end of June 2026.
