Four major firms bid for the 124 km long TOT bundle 15

IRB Infrastructure Developers, Epic Concessions, Adani Roads, and PATH (Prakash Asphalting & Toll Highways) have submitted bids for the 124-km, four-lane Trichy-Tovrankurichi-Madurai section under toll-operate-transfer (TOT) bundle 15. The NHAI, will first evaluate the technical bids before opening the financial bids within 7-10 days. As of February 2024, the Ministry has raised Rs 1 trillion through asset monetisation, including Rs 423.34 billion via TOT, Rs 261.25 billion through infrastructure investment trusts, and Rs 420 billion via securitisation.
