Sujata Construction has won a contract worth Rs 531.77 million for development of Mukhed water supply scheme (WSS) at Nanded, Maharashtra under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the Mukhed Municipal Corporation in June 2024. The scope of work includes working survey, construction of intake well, inspection well, connection pipe, jackwell with overhead pump house, approach road and bridge, raw water rising main, 5 mld water treatment plant, pure water gravity main, etc. including trial run for 3 months. The work is likely to be completed in 18 months.
