Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed a new metro corridor connecting Delhi and Ghaziabad which involves extension of pink line from Gokulpuri metro station to Arthala metro station, in Ghaziabad.
It is likely to be developed across 13 km with 10 stations, connecting Dilshad Garden Extension-2, DLF, Hindon Airport, and along Wazirabad Road.
In Ghaziabad, the route is likely to pass through several key areas, including Loni Gol Chakkar, DLF, Shalimar Garden, Hindon Airport, Bhopura, Tulsi Niketan, Rajendra Nagar, Hindon Air Force Station, New Karhaira Colony, Karhaira, and the Loni Road Industrial Area before reaching Arthala.
