Tughlakabad metro station to be developed as an interchange hub under Delhi metro project phase-IV

Tughlakabad station of corridor 3 is likely to serve as the interchange hub between the Aerocity-Tughlakabad stretch and Kashmere Gate – Raja Nahar Singh stretch under Delhi metro project phase-IV. The interchange station will be underground.

Delhi metro project – phase IV involves the development of a 103.93 km long metro rail network comprising six corridors with an investment of Rs 468 billion. The three corridors to be developed on priority basis are Maujpur-Mukundpur (12.31 km), Janakpuri West-RK Ashram (29.26 km) and Aerocity-Tughlakabad (23.62 km). In March 2024 corridor 2 (Inderlok-Indraprastha) and corridor 6 (Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block) were approved by the central government at an investment of Rs 83.99 billion.
