Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has signed agreement with Graphite India Limited for supply of 4,000 standard cubic meters per day (scmd) industrial piped natural gas (PNG).
Graphite India would utilise PNG as fuel in its manufacturing unit in Titilagarh in Balangir district of Odisha. It is engaged in manufacturing high-speed steels, alloy tool steels and powder metallurgy steels for the cutting tool industry.
Megha Gas is operating city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure in Rayagada, Nuapada, Balangir and Kalahandi districts of Odisha. Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised it to lay CGD infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 GAs in nine states.
