The joint venture (JV) of Dhatarwal Construction Company-PRL Projects and Infrastructure Limited received LoA worth Rs 8,069.10 million for implementation of Falakata-Salsalabari Four Laning Road Project (NH-31D, New NH-27) (Package IIA) (Balance Works). Bids for the same were invited by the NHAI in March 2024.
The completion and maintenance period for the work is 30 months and 60 months respectively. Package IIA involves four laning of 41.654 km long road stretch from (Ghoshpukur) 113.20 km to (Salsabari) 154.854 km on Falakata-Salsalabari section of the National Highway (NH)-31D in West Bengal under Bharatmala Pariyojana on EPC mode. The sanctioned cost of the project is Rs 18.18 billion.
