Ircon International receives LoA for implementation of package II of the Aizawl Two Lane Bypass Project

Ircon International Limited has received letter of award (LoA) worth Rs 6,306.6 million for implementation of package II of the Aizawl Two Lane Bypass Project (Sairang-Phaibawk section) (NH-6). Bids for the same were invited by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in October 2023.
The completion and maintenance period for the work is 36 months and 60 months, respectively. Package-II involves construction of Twin Tube Unidirectional Aizawl Bypass Tunnel of 2.5 km and its approaches of 2.1 km from 10.6 km to km 15.200 on Sairang – Phaibawk section of NH-6 in Mizoram on EPC basis.
