Hero Future Energies and the Uttar Pradesh government signed an MoU to invest Rs 40 billion in a renewable energy and clean technology project. Hero Future Energies currently has 3 GW of renewable energy assets in operation in India and Europe, plus 2 GW under development. In September 2023, Hero MotoCorp approved an investment in Ather Energy. In July 2023, Hero Future Energies signed an MoU with REC and PFC to develop green energy projects. In September 2022, Hero MotoCorp partnered with HPCL to develop EV charging infrastructure in India. The MoU with the UP government represents Hero’s continued focus on renewable energy and sustainability.
