Vedanta submits FDP for CB-ONHP-2017/2 block

Vedanta Limited has submitted field development plan (FDP) for Jaya gas discovery under the CB-ONHP-2017/2 block exploration. The block is likely to commence production with over 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day initially. This marks the first FDP that has been submitted for any discovery in the blocks awarded under open acreage licensing policy (OALP). Besides, Vedanta has signed a commercial gas sale agreement to off-take gas from the field. The CB-ONHP-2017/2 onshore block located in Jambusar, Bharuch district of Gujarat, has been awarded to Vedanta Limited under revenue sharing contract in OALP-I auction. In August 2021, the company made the gas and condensate discovery, Jaya, in its block.
