APSEZ is engaged in negotiations to acquire Gopalpur port in Odisha. The potential deal, with an anticipated equity value from Rs 11 billion to Rs 12 billion, aligns with Adani port’s strategic initiatives to expand its operations along the western and eastern maritime boundaries. The port has an approximate capacity of 247 million metric tonnes. This acquisition will strengthen Adani’s position in this region.
