Trial run and testing of Third Ganga WTP in Pratap Vihar begins

The trial run and testing of the Third Ganga water treatment plant (WTP) in Pratap Vihar, Uttar Pradesh has been completed. The 24-hour water supply is likely to commence soon. The plant will provide 75 per cent of the water supply to Noida in sectors like 133, 134, 122, and 135 among others, the remaining 25 per cent of water will be supplied to Ghaziabad’s Siddharth Vihar. The plant has been built with a capacity of 50 cubic feet per second at an estimated cost of Rs 3.04 Billion.
