NTPC issues BoS tender for 1,110 MW wind project

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has issued a request for proposals for balance-of-system (BoS) package to set up 1,110 MW inter-state transmission system connected wind projects, tranche-II. The projects will be developed in Gujarat. According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, micro-sitting, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and validation of guaranteed performance parameters. This involves installing the wind farm, starting from the 33 kV internal evacuation lines from the unit substation, pooling substation, central monitoring and control station, wind monitoring mast, external extra high voltage transmission line, extending to ISTS substation. The developer is required to look after operations and maintenance of complete BoS system for three years.
