The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is undertaking a pilot project to introduce online ticketing on AC buses plying between the Kempegowda bus station and Kadugodi. The new ticketing solution was developed by Bengaluru-based Series 5 Labs Private Limited and allows passengers to purchase daily travel passes online using credit or debit cards. The digital passes are non-transferable. A valid photo identification and a one-time password sent to the registered mobile number are required for ticket validation.
