MoPNG launches the Chennai Petroleum Corporation’s (CPC) Rs 31.1 billion residue

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) launched the Chennai Petroleum Corporation’s (CPC) Rs 31.1 billion residue upgradation project at the latter’s Manali refinery on February 26, 2018. Residue upgradation is a process which helps refiners enhance output from each barrel of oil. The project will help CPC reduce feed costs and increase monetisation through residue upgradation.
