Kandla International Container Terminal (KICT) at Deendayal Port has achieved a major operational milestone by exceeding its previous year’s total cargo early in the current FY 2025-26. With a cumulative handling of 7,806,220 tonnes, the terminal has already surpassed last year’s figure of 7,758,498 tonnes with over three months still remaining in the fiscal year, highlighting significant operational efficiency gains and growth momentum.
This early achievement reflects improved asset utilisation, streamlined processes, enhanced yard productivity, faster vessel turnaround times, and strong coordination across terminal operations and logistics partners.
