The Union Government inaugurated Warisaliganj-Nawada-Tilaiya section of the Kiul-Gaya Line Doubling Project (Coal Connectivity).
The project involves doubling, along with electrification of 124.3 km long Kiul-Gaya railway line in Bihar with an investment of Rs 13.54 billion. The project, sanctioned under the Railway Budget 2015-16, will serve the freight traffic for the Super Thermal Power Plant at Barh.
