Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation has approved the draft detailed project report (DPR) for the Sector 56-Panchgaon (Manesar) metro rail project.
Besides, the project is likely to be implemented by the government of Haryana.
The project involves development of a 36 km metro network from Sector 56 in Gurugram to Panchgaon in Manesar with 28 elevated stations in Haryana. It is likely to entail an investment of Rs 85 billion.
