The central government inaugurated Phase II of the new terminal building at the Dehradun airport on February 14, 2024. The project involved the construction of a new terminal building and allied works at the airport. It was implemented by the Airports Authority of India (AAI)in two phases, with Phase I (operational) spread over 28,729 square metres and Phase II over 14,047 square metres at an investment of Rs 4.86 billion.
