Adani Enterprises receives approval to set up hyperscale data centre at Bengal Silicon Valley

Adani Enterprises has received approval from the West Bengal government to set up a hyper-scale data centre at Bengal Silicon Valley in the New Town area on the outskirts of the city. The project will come up on 51.75 acres of land, which has been given on a 99-year lease. Meanwhile, in the sixth edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit held in April 2022, the Adani Group committed Rs 100 billion of investment over a decade in port infrastructure, data centres, undersea cables, centres of excellence in digital innovation, fulfilment centres, warehouses etc.
