The JNCH has issued a circular stating the withdrawal of public notice nos. 24/2020 and 33/2020 regarding the facility for waiver of late fees for delayed filing of the bill of entry (BoE) via public notice no. 71/2020. According to the notice, the general waiver of late filing charges will not be available with respect to BoE for import general manifests (IGMs) where entry inwards date is after May 31, 2020. In respect of BoEs for IGMs where entry inwards date is up to May 31, 2020, the general waiver shall cease to be available to BoEs filed after June 8, 2020.
