NHAI has reportedly downsized Bundle IV of the toll-operate-transfer model by about Rs 20 billion, reducing the initial estimated concession value to Rs 21.65 billion. Besides, the concession period of the bundle has now been reduced to 20 years. The authority had invited bids for Bundle IV in October 2019 to raise about Rs 41.7 billion from projects spanning about 400 km in Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Now, the authority has removed the project in Maharashtra from the bundle with the aim of attracting smaller investors.
