BNC Power Projects Limited, in consortium with Siemens Energy India Limited, has secured two turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contracts from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) worth approximately Rs 7.23 billion. The contracts involve the installation of static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) systems in Maharashtra.
The first contract, valued at approximately Rs 3.94 billion, covers a ±300 MVAr STATCOM along with a 400 kV air-insulated switchgear bay at the 400 kV Lonikand-II substation in Pune. The second contract, valued at approximately Rs 3.29 billion, covers a ±200 MVAr STATCOM along with a 400 kV outdoor gas-insulated switchgear bay at the 400 kV Dhule substation in the Nashik zone.
