Construction activities for Corridor 2A (Vanaz–Chandni Chowk) have been initiated, under the Pune Metro Project. Early-stage works are currently in progress in the Chandni Chowk area, comprising soil testing and survey activities.
Corridor 2A (Vanaz-Chandini Chowk) spans 1.12 km with two stations, whereas Corridor 2B (Ramwadi-Wagholi) spans 11.63 km with 11 stations. The projects entail an investment of Rs 36.26 billion and will be equally borne by the state government, central government and external funding agencies.
