BPCL has commissioned the 425 km Krishnapatnam-Hyderabad Multiproduct pipeline (KHPL) with the pumping of the first high-speed diesel (HSD) parcel from the Krishnapatnam coastal installation. The pipeline also forms a key evacuation corridor for the upcoming refinery at Andhra Pradesh. The commissioning has taken BPCL’s total pipeline network to 3,962 km, including crude and petroleum, oil and lubricants pipelines. The move is expected to strengthen logistics efficiency and help realise BPCL’s long-term infrastructure vision for energy security.
