The Western Railway (WR) has launched two 12 m Foot Over Bridge (FOB) girders at Umbergaon Road station on the Virar-Surat section under the Raising of speed in New Delhi-Mumbai Route Project.
The project involves raising the speed of all the railway lines under the New Delhi-Mumbai route from Delhi to Maharashtra to 160 kmph at an estimated cost of Rs 68.06 billion.
