Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a notification of award (NoA) from NTPC Limited for the main plant package of the 3×800 MW Telangana stage-II supercritical thermal power project in Peddapalli district, Telangana.
The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, commissioning and testing of the boiler, turbine and generator package, along with civil and structural works. The order is worth over Rs 135 billion and is to be executed within 62 months from the date of the NoA.
