The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has marked a significant progress point under the Mumbai Metro Phase III Line 12 (Kalyan-Dombivli-Taloja) Project by successfully installing the 200th U-girder near Golavali station on the elevated corridor.
The Line 12 of Mumbai Metro involves development of 23.57 km long metro corridor connecting Thane with Taloja via Dombivli in the city. The corridor is an extension of Line 5 (Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan corridor) and will have 19 elevated stations.
