Western Railway (WR) has planned to install Kavach on 307 route km (rkm) long Udhna-Jalgaon section with an investment of Rs 1.09 billion under Indian Railways (IR) Umbrella Work 2024-25.
Besides, the zone has also proposed to carry out necessary modification, upgradation and programming of total 436 existing locomotives for effective functioning of the Kavach system with an investment of Rs 3.73 billion.
