GreenTech raises Rs 300 million financing to expand wind turbine asset management and global operations

GreenTech has raised Rs 300 million in its maiden funding round. The funding round comprised a mix of equity and debt and was led by Transition VC. The company plans to use the funds to expand its global infrastructure and enhance its artificial intelligence and machine learning-based predictive maintenance platforms. It will also strengthen its supervisory control and data acquisition analytics systems. Additionally, the funding will support faster business development across India and global wind markets. Furthermore, the funding will also be deployed to expand the company’s repair and refurbishment facility into a multi-disciplinary hub covering mechanical, electrical, generator, gearbox, and electronic card repairs. It plans to further strengthen its analytics engine and scale its artificial intelligence-driven predictive maintenance algorithms.
