The government of Karnataka has inaugurated the Blue Force and Robotic Technology Deployment Programme in Bengaluru on November 19, 2025. The initiative has been designed by the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) to curb water leakages, ensure a reliable water supply to the residents and detect unauthorised water connections.
The robotic artificial intelligence system will help in the swift detection of leakages within pipelines and send information to the BWSSB dashboard for suitable intervention.
