Dara Engineering & Infrastructures Private Limited has won the contract worth Rs 2,567.81 million for the Gangatalai-Anandpuri Water Supply Project (Package I) in Rajasthan. Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in March 2024.
The scope of the project includes construction of a new water treatment plant of 5.5 mld at Jher Anicut and 26 mld for Anas river water location, laying and jointing of raw water transmission/ rising mains line of 20.301 km, construction of 7 pump houses, construction of 9 (6,300 kl) clear water reservoir, construction of 85 (15,050 kl) elevated service reservoir and laying and jointing of clear water transmission/ rising mains line of 314.945 km. Package I involves work of the water Supply Project of 233 villages (Gangatalai-97 & Anandpuri-136) of District Banswara from Jher Anicut near terminal point of Mahi and Anas River (Kadana Back Water).
The work on the project is likely to be completed in 20 months.
The project includes a one year defect liability period (DLP) followed by ten years of operation and maintenance (O&M).
